Chesapeake Gold is a collection of oyster and other seafood recipes from Maryland's first Shell Recycling Alliance.
Chesapeake Gold includes dozens of the favorite oyster dishes from top restaurants in the Chesapeake Bay region, including Angels on Horseback from Café Hon in Baltimore, Chesapeake Oyster with Asian Cucumber Relish, from Harrison’s Harbor Watch Restaurant & Raw Bar and Phillips Restaurant's Oyster Stew.
The book also includes other seafood favorites, including Nicks Chesapeake Crab Grilled Cheese from Nicks Fish House. Other recipes are from the Rusty Scupper, Ryleigh’s Oyster, Brightons Restaurant, the InterContinental Harbor Court and the Oceanaire Seafood Room.
Chesapeake Gold is also filled with photos from the Chesapeake Bay region. It is a meaningful gift or addition to a family cookbook collection that not only offers tasty Chesapeake Bay recipes, but gives back to the bay by directly supporting the ORP's efforts to restore oysters to The Chesapeake Bay.
