It's not a prediction; it's a fact. I don't even have to verify this with my favorite weather-guru, Justin Berk.
'Coastal Disturbances' at Fells Point Corner Theatre
Coastal Disturbances will be with us in Baltimore through March 4th. And, I know you'll enjoy watching the Baltimore premiere.
For the first time in Baltimore, Tina Howe brings us this beautiful story that examines love from all sides, amid the ebb and flow of summer life in a private New England beach, swirling around a mishmash of quirky characters. Garnering a Tony Award Nomination for Best Play when it premiered in 1987, Coastal Disturbances is a slice of Chekhov with a healthy dash of Ionesco's absurdism. Howe's beloved tone shines in this sensuous comedy.
The New York Times' Frank Rich wrote:
The people in Coastal Disturbances, four generations of vacationers on a private Massachusetts beach, are always welling up with love, lust or anger whenever one least expects. As written by Ms. Howe…the emotional cloudbursts, no less than the meteorological, can take the breath away.
